In This Moment have released their ninth full-length album and first under Better Noise Music, Witch, on August 28, coinciding with today’s full moon. The 11-track record blends the band’s signature emotional intensity with expanded creative elements, highlighted by notable guest appearances.
The album includes the single “I Want To Believe,” featuring Dayseeker. This collaboration pairs Maria Brink’s powerful vocals with Dayseeker’s Rory Rodriguez and comes with an epic cinematic music video that emphasizes the song’s emotional depth and dramatic visuals. Brink describes the track as a “flicker of light you protect as shadows close in,” symbolizing resilience and hope amid change.
Earlier singles such as “Crawl” have garnered praise from outlets like Revolver and Consequence Of Sound for their dynamic blend of heavy riffs, industrial rhythms, and Brink’s versatile vocal performance.
Witch also showcases guest features from Kim Dracula on “Heretic” and Kat Von D covering Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall.” Brink calls the album a declaration of inner transformation, merging themes of pain and power while embracing duality.
In This Moment will support Witch this fall on the Taste of Chaos tour alongside Hollywood Undead, I See Stars, Vana, and Melrose Avenue.
