DMCA & Copyright Policy
Last Updated: August 15, 2026
Rock Confidential respects the intellectual property rights of photographers, writers, artists, publishers, and other copyright owners. We expect contributors and users of our services to do the same.
If you believe that material appearing on Rock Confidential infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to represent, you may submit a written notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Copyright Infringement Notification
To be effective, your notification should include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If the notification concerns multiple works, you may provide a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, together with information reasonably sufficient for Rock Confidential to locate it. Please provide the complete URL of each page containing the material whenever possible.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Notices containing insufficient information may delay our ability to identify and evaluate the material.
Designated Copyright Agent
DMCA notifications should be sent to:
Designated Agent: Jesse Capps
Service Provider: Rock Confidential
Mailing Address: PO Box 2241, Middlesboro, KY 40965
Email: publisher@rockconfidential.com
Rock Confidential will review properly submitted notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the identified material.
Counter-Notification
If material you submitted to Rock Confidential has been removed or disabled as the result of a copyright notification, and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court for your address—or, if you reside outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Rock Confidential may be found—and stating that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notification or that person’s agent.
Counter-notifications should be sent to the designated agent listed above.
When required by applicable law, Rock Confidential may provide a copy of the counter-notification to the original complaining party. Removed material may be restored no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt of a valid counter-notification unless the designated agent receives notice that the complaining party has filed an action seeking a court order concerning the material.
Misrepresentations
Under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act, a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing—or that material was removed or disabled through mistake or misidentification—may be liable for resulting damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees.
Please submit copyright notifications only when you have a good-faith basis for believing that infringement has occurred.
Other Copyright Questions
This procedure is exclusively for copyright infringement notifications and counter-notifications. Questions, permissions requests, corrections, and other general correspondence should be submitted through the Rock Confidential Contact page.
